Zero Waste Initiative

Lee Ann Textile is proud to be part of the Zero Waste Packaging Initiative which is a ground-up movement started to encourage businesses to adopt a circular packaging system, provide support and recognise businesses who reduce their waste through those means.

While it’s never easy to balance sustainability vs. cost vs. operations, Lee Ann Textile is committed towards reducing wastage in packaging. Our ♻️ efforts include:

1. Checking with customers if they need carriers for their purposes;
2. Reuse carrier bags if customers do need carriers (don’t worry if you need one! We forget our recycle bags ourselves at times too!);
3. Repurposed packaging collected to pack online orders on hold or for collection;
4. Pack online orders for delivery with used boxes and packaging to reduce the use of poly mailers as much as possible; and
5. Provide physical receipts only upon requests to reduce the use of paper.

We ask our customers to join us in our efforts to reduce our carbon footprints by supporting this initiative and reducing the use of new packaging. Let’s do our part to ensure cleaner air and better environment for future generations to come! Go Captain Planet! 🌎
